Hey Mike, did you miss the WB/S coaching switch on your chart? Todd Reirden got the call to Pittsburgh and was replaced by Asst. Coach John Hynes.

That must have been the save that didn’t save. This was the best part of vacation: An idea hit me at like three in the morning. Got up, typed a ton of it out, saved it, closed it, wanted to add something before I forgot it… and it was all gone. Darn it. Typed out some notes. Hibernated the computer. About five days later, opened the file again… and the original piece was there, but everything that had happened in between? Gone. Presumably, that included the Penguins line, which got its own blog post 7/31. Thanks for noticing.
