Jeremy Colliton departs as the sixth-leading scorer in Sound Tigers history. He was third in games played, third in assists, probably up there among penalty killers. He regretted that things didn’t go as well as he’d hoped in the playoffs in his couple of appearances. He didn’t mention it, but he lost about an effective year, maybe more, to that shoulder injury; wouldas, couldas. The team will miss him on the ice; I’ll miss him off. Classy kid, bright, with a dry sense of humor.
He thinks this will be a good fit for him, one that can allow him to return next summer as a better player.
Rick Dudley winds up as an assistant GM in Atlanta, with a great reference in the header.
Hershey’s Sean Collins and Tyler Sloan re-upped with Washington.
And RIP, Dusty Rhodes.
*-Well, never got that to fit naturally in four years. Might as well burn it now.

Colliton will definitely be missed on and off the ice and in the locker room.
