Soundin' Off

The roster got a bit shorter between yesterday and today: The AHL gave Tomas Marcinko a two-game suspension for that hit Wednesday on Jason DeSantis. He’s out for the weekend. Sean Backman, meanwhile, turned out not to have made the trip. That leaves one to scratch, but everyone’s on the ice for warmup. First run makes it look as if Gillies is in and Romano is out. Edit: That’s true.

Got caught in between on both team’s defense pairings. The Phantoms have seven D dressed for warmup, and I saw them all go at least once; here’s the first way I saw them, after missing Kessel until late. Edit: Kessel in, Walker out. It looked as if Bridgeport’s pairs were typical as they’ve been, though I managed to miss them.

Road trip was fine until I made the turn to Albany. The sky got dark, the clouds got low, and I started looking for flying monkeys. Made it through, though.
