Mike- Can players be sent down during the Olympic break or is there a freeze or rules about what teams can do with their players during the break?

I think Mike would agree. the 2 called up are indeed prospects, Mauldin is a VET and his leadership in BST is more important.

More than anything, from what I’ve read and heard, the Islanders were looking for big bodies with these callups. Martin and his power-forward, crash-the-net presence; Joensuu and his 6-foot-4-itude.
