Statement from Lisa DiLullo:
This morning, Mayor Blake asked for my resignation as assistant to the mayor, which I gave him. He very graciously thanked me for my service to the City, and I offered to assist my successor during this transition in any way I can.
These last three years as assistant to the mayor, along with my prior 23 years as an FBI agent, have given me a huge variety of really useful experience. As you know, however, the defining experience for me this year was neither the job nor the election – it was the deaths of both of my parents this past summer. As my family and I continue through the healing process, I trust I’ll be led to new ways to be of service.
Thanks for your service, Lisa. You were always gracious, fair and helpful in your dealings with me.
