As I was walking around the section of Seaside Park set aside for nonprofit organizations, I walked by a booth signing people up to become organ donors. I guess I got caught up in the giving spirit of the Vibes because I signed up.
It’s something I always believed in, but never got around to doing. Well, thanks to the good folks of Donate Life New England, I was able to get it done in the space of a few minutes.
I didn’t really read the pamphlet, but I’m going under the assumption that they’ll wait until I’m done using the organs before they take them.
Or am I being naive?
If so, at least I got a nice new pen out of the deal.
